Vision: Dream it, Write it and Pray it

Vision: Dream it, Write it and Pray it

Dream It, Write It, Pray It

It’s a new year! Isn’t that awesome?

Now that the new year parties are over, what happens now?

Have you made plans for the year? Do you have goals, or are you tired of that merry-go-round?

I know that you have had plans over the years and it may be true that a lot of them did not work out as you had expected, but are you going to stop? Will you stop dreaming? Will you stop hoping?

Dream, darling, dream!

I want you to know that as long as there is life, there is hope. As long as you are alive, there are opportunities that await you. So, this year, don’t dream any less.

While you dream, don’t hold back. The beautiful thing about dreaming is that you can dream as big as you want to, there are no restrictions. When you dream about the future, you are your only limit. Dream, but don’t just dream, dream big. You deserve everything you can get; don’t let your past experiences clip the wings of your mind. Go ahead and dream.

Is it enough to dream though? Not at all.

Write the Vision

I know something that makes the difference between a dream and a goal; writing it down.

“When we write down our goals, we transform what we imagine into reality”

– Gina Greenlee

The role of writing down your goals can never be underestimated; it is as important as having the dream itself. When you write out your dream, it becomes more than an imagination; it becomes a destination. A recorded dream becomes a goal.  What are your dreams for this year? Do you hope to get a scholarship? Buy a new car? Graduate from college with honors?

Write your goals down in your journal and create a realistic plan on how to achieve it.

The space between dream and reality is bridged by writing. Get to work with your pen and journal.

In Habakkuk Chapter 2 verse 2, the Lord said, “Write down the revelation, and make it plain upon tablets, so that a herald may run with it.”

What more convincing do you need? Writing down your dream inspires you to begin. Writing out your dream motivates you get moving on it. Don’t lose time; write down your dreams, so that you can see them and make the right moves.

God is interested in your dream.

God wants you to succeed and your dreams are not too big for him. God can do all things and as strengthened us also to do all things. do not hesitate to take your dreams to God. Do not cut down your dreams because you are worried that they are too big. There is absolutely nothing that God cannot do. This is why you need to tell God about your dreams, even when your dreams are so big that they frighten you. When you take your dreams to God in prayer, He will give you strength and wisdom to go forward. Whatever you desire, it is not an impossibility for God. Trust in God’s power and love, and you will realize how easy it is to fulfill your dream. Dreams become so easy to achieve when you take them to God, because he will give you direction better than anything or anyone else. He sees, hears and knows better than anyone else you can talk to.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3: 5,6.

I want you to know today that no dream is too big; just as long as you can dream it, write it down where you can see it, and pray it out for God to help you.
